Creativity challenged - Part 3

Another big challenge = display cake for Open House. Since I have started to decorate a cake for display in last year's open house, I thought that making it an annual thing will definitely challenge me and eventually, improve my decorating skill. This year, I thought that I should make a 'kampung' house themed cake but since my 'house' turned out to be inspired from one of the cottages in Farmville, in the end, thanks to my sis for giving her ideas, I ended up with a mini Farmville cake...












To those who do not play Farmville, here are some snapshots of the game, just to give an idea of how cool some of the items in the game that we've decided to incorporate in the cake (not 100% but ideas came from here):





Glad that it was a hit during the open house and some friends even recognised that it was a farmville inspired cake hehehe... Till my next big challenge, I will take a short break on cake decorating (if I can help myself la...). It is kinda addictive as this activity is sort of my de-stress activity...

I wonder what I should do next year... hmmmm
