Creativity challenged - part 2

Like I've said in my previous posting, I needed to do a few more cakes this month. So, here they are... Verdict? I am satisfied with them - 3 different cakes for 3 different special people...

First and foremost, to my dearest sister, Linda... Happy birthday again, sis and love you!!!






The cake is layer cake (kek lapis) of chocolate and strawberry. The flavours chosen to match the colour concept of the design. Forgot to do the handbag tag though... wanted to do that one last but since this is the first of three cakes that I had to do that week, I didnt get the chance to do it.

The next cake that I did is for my cousin, Julius, who celebrated his 34th birthday on 3rd Oct. Since he loves to fish, I thought that a cake with a fisherman will be appropriate for him.






The cake is layer cake of haw flakes and vanilla. The only thing not edible is the fishing rod (which I made out of toothpick and thread). The fisherman is supposed to be sleeping thus you should not see the eye colour. He's sleeping while holding a can of beer and my cousin smokes ERA, which I tried to make but since the details are too small, all I could draw is the logo... need to practice harder on drawing smaller details LOL.

Now, the next cake is kinda interesting for me as some may say that it is a lil bit raunchy hehehe... It is for a dear friend, Lyni, who celebrated her birthday on 5th Oct.











Lyni's cake is red velvet chocolate cake. I think that it is perfect for the design too hehehe... Can't really see the reddish colour from the pics but actually there's a tint of red in the cake... I really like how the strings on the corset look very real... I am very happy with this cake hehehe... Will try to do some other variations in the future ;-)
